Flatbed semi trailers are designed to transport products which are long, heavy or oddly proportioned which creates a challenge when loading/unloading an enclosed trailer. The open nature of the trailer allows for loading / unloading from the rear, sides or top; allowing forklifts and cranes to create an even lift on the freight. Flatbeds are best suited being loaded / unloaded from the ground, rather than from a dock.

Step Deck Trailer
Step deck semi trailers, also known as drop decks, are designed to transport products which are too tall for a standard flatbed. The trailer consists of two decks, the upper and lower. The use of the lower deck, or well, allows for freight up to 10’ high to be legally transported, while still providing the same loading / unloading capabilities of a standard flatbed.

Double Drop Trailer (Lowboy)
Double drop semi trailers are designed to transport oversize freight, both legally and through the use of permits / escorts. Comprising of three decks: the upper, lower, and well. The low profile nature of the well allows for freight up to 12’ high to be legally transported. With multiple trailer variations, such as an extendible deck, double drops allow for the transport of a wide array of oversized freight.

Extendable Double Drop Trailer (Lowboy)
Extendable Double Drop trailers are designed to transport both legal and oversized (permitted, escorted) freight, and are specifically useful for commodities which are too long for the ‘Well’ of a standard Double Drop trailer. Extendable Double Drop’s have the ability to extend out their ‘Well’ via two (2) bars, which allows longer commodities to be fully supported, length wise. Double Drops allow for the transport of a wide array of oversized freight which can be loaded and offloaded via a crane.

Rgn Trailer
RGN (removable gooseneck, also called low boy or double drop) semi trailers are designed to transport oversize freight, both legally and through the use of permits / escorts. RGNs are specifically useful for products which can be driven onto the trailer, such as tractors, specialty vehicles, and heavy machinery. With the ability to detach from the cab, and with drop down ramps, freight can easily be driven on and off.

Extendable RGNs have the ability to extend out their ‘Well’ via two (2) bars, which allows longer commodities to be fully supported, length wise. In addition, with the ability to detach from the cab, coupled with drop down ramps, freight can easily be driven on and off, such as heavy machinery, or loaded and offload via a crane such as modular buildings.

Hot Shot Trailer
Hot shot semi trailers are to transport products which are long or oddly proportioned. However, they are limited to lower cargo weight. The open nature of the trailer allows for loading / unloading from the rear, sides or top; allowing forklifts and cranes to create an even lift on the freight. The low profile nature of the deck allows for freight up to 10’ high to be legally transported.

Hydraulic Trailer
Hydraulic trailers are designed to transport both commercial and residential modular units, mainly, but not limited to, units constructed out of timber (wood). Equipped with multiple (up to 4), custom, high weight rated lifting systems – that when positioned underneath a modular unit, the entire deck of the trailer raises and/or lowers at a constant level, allowing for a modular unit to be lifted or off of cribbage, without the need for crews, forklifts or cranes. Ideal for transport to and from an unmanned staging yard, which is often used to backfill modular units before the start of a project.

Extendable Hydraulic Trailer
Extendable hydraulic trailers are designed to transport both commercial and residential modular units, mainly, but not limited to, units constructed out of timber (wood). Equipped with multiple (4-6) custom, high weight rated lifting systems, these trailers have the same deck raising and lowering capabilities of a standard hydraulic trailer, with the added ability to extend, or trombone out the ‘well’ of the trailer to accompate longer and / or heavier modular units. Ideal for transport to and from an unmanned staging yard, which is often used to backfill modular units before the start of a project.

Modular Frame Trailer
Frames are specifically designed to transport modular units, both commercial and residential, timber (wood) or steel. Frames can be manufactured to varying dimensions, as well as axle configurations, dependent on the preference(s) of the manufacturing factory, or for a specific job. The tongue, or front, of the frame is equipped with a pintle hitch, and towed to the job-site using a toter cab. As these frames are often owned by the manufacturing factory themselves, once offloaded, they are stacked three (3) high and returned to the factory, to either be re-loaded, or stored for the next project.

Dry Van Trailer
Dry van semi trailers are designed to transport the most versatile of dry products due to the fully enclosed nature of the trailer, which allows freight to be protected from the elements. Palletized products are most common as they can be efficiently and safely loaded / unloaded with a forklift or pallet jack from a dock.

Reefer Trailer
Reefer semi trailers are designed to transport products which require to be kept at a specific temperature or temperature range through the entirety of the transit. While reefers are traditionally utilized to keep freight cold, reefers have the ability to be kept at warmer temperatures to protect freight from freezing, or run dry freight with the refrigeration unit turned off.

Conestoga Trailer
Conestoga semi trailers are designed to offer the enclosed nature of a dry van, while providing the same loading / unloading capabilities of a flatbed. A sliding curtain, when open, allows for freight to be loaded / unloaded from the side, rear, or top. When closed, the curtain offers the weather protection of a dry van without the risk of tarps rubbing against the freight.

Intermodal Trailer
Intermodal semi trailers are designed to transport palletized shipments which require a fully enclosed trailer. Intermodal containers are specifically useful for products with no time sensitivity in order to capture the cost savings of rail transit. These cost savings are the most substantial when shipping in/out of major market lanes over 1,500 miles.

Pup Trailer
Pup semi trailers are designed to pick up and deliver local palletized freight. The reduced length of pup trailers allows for easy maneuverability in/out of non-commercial areas not suited for larger trailers. Pup trailers are the most common type of equipment with a lift gate affixed to allow unloading / loading at locations with no dock or proper freight handling equipment.
